To mark the 7th Annual Pittsburgh Solar Tour on Oct. 14, PennFuture spoke with long-time supporter Joe Morinville of Energy Independent Solutions (EIS Solar), who has supported the event for many years.

Originally from Minnesota, Joe moved to Pittsburgh after marrying a local. Inspired by his father’s interest in solar energy and a solar training course he took in high school, he fell in love with the city and launched EIS Solar. He is now dedicated to promoting renewable energy and supporting PennFuture’s initiatives.
