The Pennsylvania state House of Representatives has passed several bills that would better regulate data center development. It is time for the Senate to act to protect all of us from the negative impacts of this industry.

 

Tell Your State Rep: Prohibit NDAs with Data Center Developers

Data centers are currently allowed to require that local governments sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to keep key details about what they hope to build, all hidden from the public. HB 2359 would put an end to data centers entering into secretive NDAs with local governments.

 
We Need Your Help to Pass the Solar-Ready Warehouse Bill!
 House Bill 1260 would make sure that warehouse roofs can support solar panels instead of sitting empty, providing an opportunity to use tens of millions of square feet to power homes and lower electric bills. PennFuture wrote this commonsense legislation and it was passed by the state House of Representatives. We need your help to get the bill passed  in the state Senate.

House Bill 2184 defines “public interest” in Public Utility Commission proceedings and establishes a guide to inform how the PUC decides when our bills increase and by how much.
