Recent assessments show that efforts to restore the Chesapeake Bay are beginning to yield positive results. Nutrient and sediment pollution are declining, and states are on track to meet many of their 2025 milestones.
Still, there is significant work ahead to curb agricultural runoff and stormwater pollution. PennFuture urges continued investment in clean-up initiatives, collaboration among states, and strong enforcement to protect the Bay for future generations.
