Many Pennsylvanians worry about how to bridge the divide between their personal hopes for a healthy planet and the views of others. To address this challenge, PennFuture and 25 partner organizations crafted the Pennsylvania Common Conservation Agenda, a nonpartisan, pragmatic plan for clean air, pure water and a stable climate that will allow the state to prosper.

The agenda unites a diverse environmental movement around achievable goals and outlines policies to protect natural resources, invest in clean energy and hold polluters accountable. It also emphasizes the importance of engaging communities across the political spectrum and working with lawmakers to achieve shared objectives.

By rallying around a common vision and building new leaders, Pennsylvania’s environmental community hopes to spark a new era of stewardship that transcends partisan divides. The Common Conservation Agenda provides a roadmap for citizens and policymakers who believe that safeguarding our environment is essential to our health, economy and future.
