I recently stepped into a new role as Director of Policy at PennFuture. Coming from rural Pennsylvania and a lifetime spent exploring family farms, streams and forests, I’m excited to continue advocating for clean air, pure water and a healthy climate for all. My memories of swimming the Juniata and fishing the Conococheague shaped my commitment to conservation, and I want future generations—including my young nephews—to have the same opportunities to paddle and hike in Penn’s woods.

Based in Harrisburg, I lead our policy initiatives and serve as PennFuture’s chief lobbyist with elected officials in Harrisburg and Washington. I keep my finger on the pulse of legislation and hold polluters and policymakers accountable, working to defend and advance environmental protections. Speaking truth to power and increasing public participation in government are essential to ensuring that our communities enjoy clean air, water and a healthy environment.

The political landscape is changing rapidly, and environmental protections are under attack. Yet this moment also offers opportunities for citizens to engage. I’m committed to being your watchdog in the statehouse and beyond, and I invite you to join me in preserving and restoring Pennsylvania’s air, water and land for ourselves and future generations.
