Just a month into my new role as PennFuture’s director of policy, I’m excited to continue advocating for clean air, pure water and a healthy climate for all Pennsylvanians. I want to introduce myself and share our policy priorities for 2018.

Based in Harrisburg, I lead and develop PennFuture’s policy initiatives and serve as our liaison with elected officials in Harrisburg and Washington, D.C. As chief lobbyist, I monitor legislative issues, manage relationships with legislators and agencies and help shape our policy positions, strategies and communications. It’s essential that we serve as a watchdog over polluters and work to preserve and restore environmental protections.

Our priorities for 2018 include defending and expanding clean air and water protections, promoting clean energy and climate solutions, increasing public participation in government and holding polluters and policymakers accountable. In a rapidly changing political landscape, PennFuture must be vigilant and proactive to safeguard the environment and ensure a healthy future for our communities.
