Summer 2024 Legal Interns
PennFuture launched a paid legal internship program to cultivate the next generation of environmental advocates. Thanks to generous donor support, interns gain hands-on experience working alongside PennFuture attorneys on urgent environmental cases.
The interns assist with legal research, draft complaints and briefs, and help the legal team hold polluters accountable in courts and before regulatory agencies. Their contributions strengthen PennFuture's capacity to protect Pennsylvania's environment.
This summer's interns are Andriana Vega, Jessie Staley and Jasmine Gunning. Vega, a student at California Western School of Law, is passionate about advocating for sustainable practices and wants to ensure communities have a voice in environmental decisions. Staley studies at the University of Colorado and is interested in international water law and equitable access to clean water. Gunning is at Widener University and hopes to pursue environmental and energy law in Pennsylvania after graduation.
We are grateful for these interns' dedication and excited to support their professional growth. Meet our Summer 2024 legal interns as they help advance our mission to create a cleaner, healthier Pennsylvania.
