Want to protect the environment? Your voice matters.

If you’re reading this, you likely care deeply about our planet. You probably do what you can to be more sustainable – recycling, switching to LED lightbulbs and non-toxic products, or perhaps walking or taking public transportation where you can.

But addressing big problems like climate change, pollution, and environmental injustice takes solutions at a much larger scale – systemic issues require systemic solutions. And those bigger, broader pro-environment solutions only get put in place when we come together and make our voices heard.

That’s where we over here at PennFuture come in!

We know folks are juggling so much these days – between school, work, caring for our families, and more — so we make it incredibly easy for you to take action and push for solutions that protect our families, our communities, and our environment.

Here’s the critical part that we couldn’t do without you:

Our Civic Engagement team actively tracks developments across key regions in the state and works to ensure residents - like YOU - are informed about opportunities to take part in the decisions that shape our communities. We’re here to support you, listen to you, and work with you to bring about a healthier future. How?

    • Making sure you know about the key environmental decisions happening locally and statewide.
    • Providing opportunities for you to meet with and express your concerns to your legislators – the elected officials that represent YOU locally and in Harrisburg.
    • Offering training and support on key advocacy tactics, like making a public comment, calling your legislator, writing to your local newspaper, and more.

We’ve got the data, the facts, and the science – but changing minds and achieving progress takes the power of people coming together, and highlighting the real impacts Pennsylvanians are feeling, and demanding better.

And the fact of the matter is that all too often, the people that are most burdened by pollution and impacted by decisions are left out of the conversation and the decision-making process. We want to empower as many people across the Commonwealth to be part of the solutions — especially people living in frontline communities and those most impacted by the environmental injustices we’re facing.

So make sure you’re signed up for our updates and action alerts here! That way you’ll know exactly what needs your attention and how to take action.

Most importantly — we need you to make your voice heard. YOUR voice matters.

That’s why we’re bringing residents from across the state to the Capitol in Harrisburg on Monday, May 4, 2026. We the people elected our State Representatives and our State Senators, and those elected officials have a key opportunity to pass legislation that would make our energy more affordable, our water less polluted, and our environment more protected.

Join us in Harrisburg, in person on Monday, May 4 by signing up here. We’ll even cover your ride if you carpool with friends, family or neighbors!

And of course – lunch is on us!

Can’t make it, but still want to help?

Your voice still deserves to be heard. Your concerns matter! Share your story with us so we can showcase why environmental action matters to you. Click here to share with us on why you care about pushing for affordable solutions and pro-environment legislation, and we’ll be sure to share it with your elected officials.
