Monroe County College Campus Journeys to Clean Energy and Efficiency

Northampton Community College's Monroe Campus in the Poconos celebrates its commitment to clean energy and sustainability. The campus features a LEED-certified, energy-efficient building and a 305 kW solar array that powers more than 50 percent of its electricity. Students learn about renewable energy, green careers and sustainable design through hands-on programs, demonstrating how higher education can lead the transition to a clean energy future.
