What is Click-To-Call?

PennFuture is providing a new advocacy tool for supporters, allowing you to call your representatives directly with the help of easily accessible talking points and a phone connection made with the simple click of a button.

In December, we launched our first ever campaign using a Click-To-Call action to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and we look forward to using it even more in the future during times in which your rapid response to elected officials is needed. 

The process involves three simple steps and only takes about 3 minutes to complete. In that short time, you will have made a major impact in our work to protect the environment!

While sending emails and letters to representatives is always an effective way to share your opinions on issues that matter to you, click-to-call actions allow citizens to create a larger sense of urgency for elected officials when the window for change is smaller than usual. This tool will be crucial in our fight in 2018 for clean air, water, and a healthier future for Pennsylvania. 

Here’s how it works:

1. After you receive a PennFuture e-mail requesting you to take action through click-to-call, you  will fill out a form with your contact information. After that, you will see the name and phone number for your representatives. Please note that you should not call the number during this step.  Our technology takes care of that for you later.
2. During the next step, you will be able to see and review the provided talking points for the phone call with your representative.
3. At the very bottom of this page, you will find a space to add your phone number. After submitted, you will receive a phone call detailing the issue and preparing you for the conversation. Then, using the talking points, you complete the call!

After the call is complete and the staff-person or representative has hung up, you will then receive a “thank you” call to let you know that your action is done.
