Courtney Lane joined PennFuture's Center for Energy, Enterprise and the Environment in November 2005. As a senior energy policy analyst for the Center, her work focuses on promoting clean energy markets and policy throughout Pennsylvania. She is currently working on the implementation of the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards Act and providing information to individuals interested in developing clean energy projects.
Lane graduated with honors from Colgate University with a B.A. in Environmental Geography and received her M.A. in Environmental Policy from Tufts University. In the past she has worked as a research and policy analyst for Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnership Inc. in Lexington, MA, where she worked on tracking and promoting energy efficiency policy throughout the northeast.
